Easy to make leather fringe necklace
Materials
1 piece leather approximately 18” x 3”
1- 16.5” Flat silver chain
2- Silver cone shaped cap ends- approximately ½” opening
2- 4" pieces silver wire
Tools
Ruler
Box cutter
Pliers
Instructions
1 Brush back of the leather to clean off excess - Cut 9 strips of leather ¼” wide x 18” long
2 Trim one end at a 45 degree angle (this makes the inside strips shorter than outside ones so the necklace hangs better)

4 Run wire through the holes

5 Twist one
end of wire to hold leather strips tightly together
6 Fold long end down and make a loop (loop should be ¼” to ½” longer than the cap end)

7 Twist into
place
8 Apply carpenter’s
glue on end of leather

9 Put silver
cap end over end of leather- let dry 25 minutes
10 Once dry-
open link on chain end and join to the wire loop
