How to Make a Leather Business Cardholder

Fun and easy to make leather cardholder



Step One
-For the pattern make a rectangle 12.5cm (L)x10cm (W)
-Along top edge curve down 1.5cm so centre is 11.0cm long
-Curve bottom corners; see diagram below

Step Two
-Choose two colours of leather and glue them together with   carpenter's glue; spread glue evenly
-Place a book on top and let dry for 25 minutes



Step Three
- Place pattern on top of leather and trace around with ink pen

Step Four
- Cut leather using a box cutter for straight edges and scissors for curved edges
-Make sure to cut away the pen lines



Step Five
-Decide which colour you want on the inside of the card holder
-Fold towards the inside colour at the 5.5 cm mark

Step Six
-Glue the the sides to hold in place
-Stitch the sides and tie threads
