Bright Trends Women's Wear F/W 2012/13

Styling Trends Women‘s Wear F/W 2012/13
Bright Messages
Sippo Fashion Trends

The theme is based on clear shapes, colour contrasts and

geometry. The sixties and seventies spur on the fashion
business with characteristic attitudes such as clear shapes
and bright, clear colours, as well as glamorous Bohemian
reminiscences.
Clear shapes, large surfaces as colourful
contrasts to darks and colour blockings play an important
role in this sense. Silhouettes tend to plain and clean styles.
Flared designs are combined with slim, narrow garments,
alienated classics in layerings of different colours and
proportions
with graphic contrasts, trimmings and striking,
even girlish accessories. Fabrics are compact, such as
double cloth or double jersey, bouclés, masculine singlecoloured
garments combined with nappa leather, striking and
colourful checks, block stripes, geometric prints. The theme
is brightly coloured, in combination with dark and neutral
tones.

Designs
Severe stripes, block stripes, window and tweed checks, dots,
geometric patterns - also as XL shapes, colour blockings, stains,
dog’s tooth pattern, striking, poster-like designs, raw prints,
colourful Prince-of-Wales and Pied de Poule.

Style
Boxy wool coats, wrap-around, double-breasted and stand-up
collars with padded shoulders and wide sleeves. Cabans, oversized
blazers, flared short jackets, plain tunics and mini-dresses
with belts and button facings, mini and balloon skirts, slim stretch
pants. Knits as oversized cardigans, tunics and mini-dresses.

Colours
Ecru, red, orange, green, cobalt blue. As combination colours, the
theme resorts to beige, grey, navy and black.
Fabrics
Noble hairy wool types as reversibles, double cloth, bondings in
colour and materials’ mixtures, stretch and crêpes, dense silk
satins, crêpe de chine, geometric embroideries, dense jersey and
double knits, piqués, ribs, geometry and geometric embroideries,
crochet and patchwork optics.
